Target audience research Pt.1
My magazine was intended to offer an information and in depth car magazine that presents itself completely different than other magazines. The age range established for my magazine is anywhere from 15-65 year old offering the latest and greatest about cars. The gender for the article is mainly steered towards males yet it is offered an a unisex gender article. The income level it also steers towards is to people usually making any money per year or just about anyone with specific interest in cars or the automobile industry. The article is also not steered towards any particular race and is available to anyone. Geography is also steered mainly towards Asia, America, and Europe due to cars coming from those countries. Education level is overall general no specific level is needed to understand the article.
ADVERTISEMENT- My article would be well placed and advertisements on drag strips and dealerships.
Automobile magazine- Our targeting audience is similar due to both following similar patterns leading to car enthusiasts. The intended audience leans mainly towards the 15-65 year old age group, as well as a mostly male leaned article. They share similar forms of car enthusiasts and all there is to know about cars. Automobile is a pretty standard magazine that is great for all types of car people as well as our magazine. Advertising in both magazines follow a fairly similar protocol with placement in hotpot attractions for the car enthusiasts. Being placed in areas like F-1 races, drag strips, and racetracks make the advertisement placement method excellent for finding the right customers. They market their magazine by placing ads when watching car related videos to have it targeted to the right group of people. The forms of media that had been used was billboards, and digital placement of ads on the internet . I would use very similar forms of advertising and ad placement due to it being a hot place for the magazine to be viewed. I would also set fairly similar targets to apply to a similar audience.
